Microcurrent is a safe and effective non-invasive technology used in age management facials that utilizes a low level of electricity to stimulate the face. Clients who have past or present health concerns or questions not listed must consult with their physician to determine if microcurrent is right for them.
Contraindications to microcurrent use:
While handheld and home units are novel, they are often imported gadgets that do not have the engineering and manufacturing standards behind them to support safety and results. Many use high levels of electricity that can be damaging and detrimental.

Microcurrent on the other hand uses an extremely low and safe level of pulsed current (microamps) with specific outputs and wave shapes. In this facial, the electrical current is only applied to the client’s face, and the current only travels between the two probes that are less than 2 inches apart.
